Technology-Based Legal Services Attorney

Erin Riker is the Technology-Based Legal Services Attorney for the Center for Elder Law and Justice, where she manages our Senior Financial Safety Tool, the Senior Legal Risk Detector, the Mobile Legal Unit, the Senior Legal Advice Helpline, and, most recently, our COVID-19 updates blog. While at CELJ, Erin designed and implemented the Helpline, overseeing its expansion during the COVID-19 crisis. Previously, Erin provided legal assistance to seniors in the refugee community who are in the process of obtaining green cards and full citizenship.

Prior to working for CELJ, Erin worked for 7 years at a private law firm, where she implemented and managed a Pro Bono Legal Services program. Erin was the recipient of the 2016 Champions for Justice Pro Bono Coordinator Award. She previously served as a member of the Fundraising Committee for the Erie County Family Justice Center, and currently serves as the Home School Association Co-Chair at Nativity of Our Lord Elementary School in Orchard Park.
