KAYLA LEWIS

Staff Paralegal

Kayla Lewis is a Program Liaison with Center for Elder Law and Justice’s Financial management program that partnerships with Lifespan of Greater Rochester.  I receive referrals, gather information, schedule a visit, have the client sign documents if they wish to move forward with the program, and assign a volunteer to work with the client to assist with any financial needs that they wish. She would also provide any resources if there are any other concerns that are raised at the intake and/or can be referred to other programs within the agency as deemed appropriate. Kayla graduated with her Criminal Justice Degree with a Human Services minor and knows basic American Sign Language (ASL). Kayla has worked in the human services field since 2015. She has worked in different populations to expand her knowledge within the field. She obtained her Gerontology Certificate in May 2024 through Lifespans remote program. She’s a great advocate for the older adult community and shows a true passion for this field. She is looking forward to what the future hold for her here at CELJ.
