Volunteer Attorney

Tony Szczygiel recently retired as a Professor at the SUNY Buffalo School of Law, where he taught since 1982. His classroom courses included Elder Law and Health Law. Tony also supervised the Foster Elder Law Clinic that he started in 1983. The Clinic worked closely with Legal Services for the Elderly, Disabled or Disadvantaged, now named the Center for Elder Law and Justice. As part of this work, the Clinic handled scores of Medicare and Medicaid appeals for elderly or disabled clients. Tony continues to volunteer at CELJ.
