Jesslyn Holbrook

Supervising Attorney

Jesslyn Holbrook is a supervising attorney at the Center for Elder Law & Justice, where she practices in the Article 81 Guardianship unit, which is comprised of a team of attorneys, paralegals, accountants, social workers and staff who advocate for, and address the day-to-day needs of individuals for whom CELJ is appointed to serve as Guardian. Previously, Jesslyn was the Project Director of CELJ’s MedLaw Partnership of WNY, Kaleida Division.

Prior to joining CELJ in 2018, Jesslyn worked in private practice, primarily in the areas of Article 81 guardianships, health law, and elder law. She also clerked with the Appellate Division, Fourth Department. Jesslyn is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County’s Health and Elder Law Committees, and is a regular presenter for the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY. She is a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of University at Buffalo’s dual JD/MSW program and currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor at the University at Buffalo.
