IS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION STILL AVAILABLE?

Yes, public transportation is still available across WNY, though operations are different.  For areas served by the NFTA (Erie County and Niagara Counties), riders are asked to board busses from the front door in order to pay the fare, and exit busses through the rear door whenever possible.  For information about NFTA COVID-19 updates, including updated service schedules and procedures, please visit https://www.nfta.com/about/public-information/covid-19-coronavirus/faq.

RTS (serving Monroe, Genesee, Orleans, Wyoming, Livingston, Wayne, Ontario, and Seneca Counties) has also asked that riders enter via the front door and exit via the rear door of busses.  For information about altered route and service schedules, and for information about the Dial-A-Ride program, please visit https://myrts.com/COVID-19-Updates.
